Here’s some new music from the upcoming Born of Osiris album Tomorrow We Die ∆live. They’ve already released the song “M∆chine”, which has been a part of their set list on the Rockstar Mayhem Festival as well as an album preview with snippets of each song. “Divergency” is similar to “M∆chine” in that it sticks to the new musical direction it seems the band is going for on the upcoming album. Both songs feature a tighter and more concise writing style. The songs are more structured, especially when compared to 2011’s The Discovery, which had a slightly more progressive feel to it. But the overall sound is still patently Born of Osiris, with circle-pit inducing chugs, harmonized leads, and some cool Eastern sounding synth parts. The enigmatic album title also shows up in the lyrics to “Divergency” (“Tomorrow we die alive, so our feet hit the ground tonight”). Anyway, the song rocks pretty hard, so check it out in the above lyric video. Hopefully people like it enough to buy the album so the band can pay back touring guitarist Lee Evans.

Tomorrow We Die ∆live will be released August 20 from Sumerian Records.
