Can it be? There have been a lot of rumors kicking around about Godflesh, Justin Broadrick’s seminal metal/industrial band, touring. And while we can’t find concrete confirmation yet, theprp is reporting some dates have slipped out for October. The band, which primarily consists of Broadrick and G.C. Green, had reformed for last year’s Maryland Deathfest, playing much of their most popular and influential album, 1989’s Streetcleaner. Nails will apparently be supporting, which just sweetens the deal.

Broadrick disbanded Godflesh in 2002. They reformed in 2010 to play some shows, and there’s talk of new music coming out from them. We’ll give you updated/confirmed tour dates as soon as we get them, but this is where they’ll allegedly be playing:

10/18 Philadelphia, PA – Theatre Of Living Arts
10/19 New York City, NY – Irving Plaza
10/20 Boston, MA – Royale
10/22 Chicago, IL – Metro
10/24 Seattle, WA – Neumos
10/25 Portland, OR – Hawthorne Theatre
10/26 Oakland, CA – Metro Opera House
10/27 Los Angeles, CA – Fonda Theatre
10/29 Austin, TX – Mohawk
