Just last May, Six Feet Under unleashed Undead to the world. However, it hasn’t taken Chris Barnes and company long to record a follow up. In fact, we can look forward to a new album from the death metal legends in less than two months.

Titled Unborn, the new album is slated to be released on March 19 via Metal Blade Records. Unborn’s cover artwork can be seen above (and minus a few details and color, shares a lot of resemblances to Undead’s cover). Not much else is known about the album’s release. However, Barnes revealed via Twitter that fans can expect “a taste” of Unborn very soon. He also revealed in a separate tweet that guitarist Rob Arnold (who retired from touring shortly after joining Six Feet Under joined the group) plays on at least two songs.

It’s cool that we’ll get to hear new material from Six Feet Under this year, especially so soon after releasing Undead. Although, we can think of at least one guy who won’t be buying the album.
