Since multi-instrumentalist Pete Morten formed My Soliloquy in 2002, the five-piece band have released a number of demos. Now in 2013, the British group are finally releasing their debut album, The Interpreter. Coming out on Sensory Records, a division of The Laser’s Edge Group, on January 29th in North America, The Interpreter is a must-listen for fans of prog-metal bands like Dream Theater, Circus Maximus and Threshold, a band that Morten has been an active member of since 2007.
“Fractured” is melodic, technical, and driving, with nearly all of the instrumentation, minus the drumming, done by Morten. 11 years in the making, check out your first taste of My Soliloquy’s The Interpreter after the jump.
