What do you get when singer Tommy Vext collaborates with two former members of Mutiny Within? You get a new version of the singer’s project Vext. It all started when the former Divine Heresy/ Snot singer started working with Mutiny Within bassist Andrew Jacobs last Summer. The two then brought in Mutiny Within drummer Bill Fore and solo guitarist Angel Vivaldi to complete the fold.

And though their debut EP Impermanence does not yet have an official release date, Vext gave fans their first taste of music via a teaser video. The clip features snippets of material from the EP and promo shots of the band. Whether Vext will make their live debut anytime soon is presently unclear. However, seeing that Mutiny Within is still on hold and that Vext is no longer a candidate to replace Howard Jones, we’d expect to see them onstage sooner than later.

Vext’s EP teaser video can be seen above, while you can stay up to date on the band’s upcoming plans via Facebook and Twitter.
