Remember that collaboration that Metallica did with an artist that was totally out of place? No, we’re not talking about Lou Reed.  “Red Lipstick,” a song that’s available as a bonus track on Rihanna’s forthcoming album, Talk That Talk, contains a portion of Metallica’s “Wherever I May Roam.” Granted, it’s barely enough to register, and doesn’t really make or break the song one way or the other, but it’s heard in the beginning the end of it. On first listen, it’s pretty obvious why she relegated it to a bonus track, but check it out above. And know that it’s nowhere near as bad a Metallica collaboration as Swizz Beatz and Ja Rule.

Update: It should be noted that “Red Lipstick” is actually a sample of “Saxon,” a song by producers Chase & Status and that samples “Wherever I May Roam.”
