Sevendust guitarist Clint Lowery will sit out the first leg of the band’s early 2026 European tour alongside Alter Bridge and Daughtry, citing family commitments and upcoming health-related tests. Their European trek was part of Metal Insider’s top 10 reasons to get excited about for 2026, which makes this a partial bummer.

Lowery shared a video message earlier today (5th), expressing that he is prioritizing his family and children, limiting his extended time away from home. He also revealed he has to complete some medical tests following health issues from last year before rejoining the tour. Stepping in on guitar for the affected dates will be Tim Tournier, a Chicago-based artist manager who has previously filled in for Lowery on select Sevendust shows.
