Rock Icon Mark Tremonti is no stranger to success. During his 30-year career, he has shown an unrelenting drive to create music, sing, and perform, leading to 18 full-length albums and thousands of live performances. He has accumulated billions of streams, received a GRAMMY award, and had 60 million units sold worldwide from his band Creed, Alter Bridge, and the solo project Tremonti. He is constantly perfecting his craft, vocally soaring to new heights, and his musical talents as a songwriter and guitarist. Now, with his 19th comprehensive album and sixth Tremonti album, The End Will Show Us How, scheduled for release on Napalm Records January 10, 2025. He proves to fans that the new LP is, by design, flawless.

Alongside band members Eric Friedman (guitar), Ryan Bennett (drums), and Tanner Keegan (bass), Tremonti brought acclaimed music producer Michael “Elvis” Baskette in to help develop and create the new music at Studio Barbarosa in Orlando, Florida. Each song has its own unique entity and no two sound alike. The album starts off with “The Mother, The Earth and I”, which weaves a story together about us all being children of the earth and shows off Tremonti’s vocals as they resonate passionately within the song alongside mind-alerting guitar playing.

“One More Time” delivers a heavy-hitting drum, bass, and guitar introduction. Fueled with strong, soaring vocals, this song shows off each member’s skill as a first-rate musician with dueling guitars and double time on drums and bass. There is an amazing, jaw-dropping solo that brings together this massive song. The first single, “Just Too Much,” has a captivating refrain and hard-driving riffs that will have the listener singing along. The song also has some amazing solo guitar work being performed.

A heavy message fueled with an even larger sound, “Nails” is a song that will hit the listeners emotionally and musically with a bridge section that contains a weighty guitar solo that will take them on a ride. Tremonti’s vocals are powerful and intense. This song is one that will stand out to fans as a favorite for the pure passion of the music being played.

“It’s Not Over” is a special song that is smooth and melodic. Tremonti’s vocals are clear and powerful. Although it is a softer song on the album, it’s a beautiful one that conveys a message of getting back on one’s feet and facing the world again. The title track, “The End Will Show Us How,” is a song with a rhythmic nature and soaring lyrics that will take the listener on a musical journey. The solo is a strapping section with steady drumbeats, bass, and guitars.

One of the most unique songs on the album is “I’ll Take My Chances,” which begins with a mighty introduction of double time on bass, drums, and roaring guitars. The refrain is melodic in nature, but in all, it is a heavy song that truly is a special treat to hear. The last song on the album “All The Wicked Things,” is a treat that will give the listener a futuristic electronica-sounding journey in the beginning with a steady hard rock sound throughout the rest of the song and midway through going into full heavy mode, then back to hard rock coming full circle with the end sounding like the beginning.

Tremonti and the crew have never sounded better. Bennett on drums has brought his technique, skill, and playing to a new level, making a name for himself as one of the top drummers today. Friedman shows his chops on guitar and why he is on the rise in his own right as one of the best guitarists. Not to be overlooked, Keegan soars on bass, and his passion and drive are exhibited.

Mark Tremonti is Tremonti. He eats, sleeps, and breathes the music he creates and plays. That’s why he was selected as Guitar World’s Guitarist of the Decade, a flagship PRS endorser, and has graced the cover of hundreds of magazines and publications. He truly is a fan favorite because of their ability to keep pushing himself to create new and innovative sounds on guitar and vocals. His songwriting on The End Will Show Us How is some of the most creative and distinctive sounding of his career. This album should not only be in Tremonti fans’ hands but in all true hard rock and metal listeners. It speaks volumes about the talent that he and his band have and what magic can happen when you are one of the best singers, guitarists, and songwriters in the world.
