10) No Cure, I Hope I Die Here (Sharp Tones Records)

Synopsis: This band is my new favorite atypical Hardcore band. They are such a badass, multifaceted output. This album winded me when I reviewed it. Every kind of horror note placed on top of atypical hardcore.
Favorite Track: Hang Me From The Bible Belt

09) Aborted, Vaults of Horror (Nuclear Blast)

Synopsis: Aborted is the most frequent on my Spotify playlist. They take 80’s horror soundtracks and turn them into monumental metal masterpieces, this album is filled to the brim with guest spots- including but not limited to Jason Evans, Alex Erian and Ricky Hoover (I’m sorry I destroyed Suffokate).
Favorite Track:The Golgothan

08) Chapel of Disease, Echoes of light (Van Records)

Synopsis: This album feels like it’s predicting the future. Chapel of Disease has a history of writing music that feels futuristic and glossy in its frame, but jumps out at you more and more over time.
Favorite Track: Gold Dust

07) Skeletal Remains, Fragments of the ageless (Century Media)

Synopsis: If the attempt at frosting hell had a soundtrack, this is the timeless set of military marches being chanted. This album holds tight to everything about death metal that is frantic, coarse, and gorgeous.
Favorite Track:Forever in Sufferance

06) Hulder, Versus in Oath (20 Buck Spin)

Synopsis: Black Metal never disappoints me, but the combination of viking elements sends my love for this genre into hyperdrive. This album checked every box.
Favorite Track: Enchanted Steel
