Montreal-based experimental rock outfit Vvon Dogma I, featuring Unexpect bassist Chaoth, is set to release their new album, The Kvlt of Glitch, on May 5th. The album promises to push boundaries with its unconventional approach to music, and the first single, “One Eye,” which premieres today (7th) on Metal Insider, showcases their ambition. The band’s nine-string bassist, Chaoth, is the primary songwriter, and the album was produced by Chaoth, Blaise Borboën-Léonard, Chris Donaldson, and Dave Evangelista. The music video for “One Eye” is recommended for fans of avant-garde sounds and bands like Sleep Token, Unprocessed, and Meshuggah.

Chaoth comments:

“It is the first single even though it doesn’t necessarily represent the whole album. Sometimes you have to go with something different. It sounds more playful and not as serious than the rest of this dark-ass album and I guess the video shows that a little bit. I got to collaborate with my old friend Pierre-Olivier Forest for the video. Really just an excuse to reconnect with an old friend.”
