Announced this past weekend at Welcome To Rockville (DWP’s last festival of the season), were the headliners for NEXT year’s event. Taking place May 19th-22nd, 2022, Welcome To Rockville moves back to its regularly scheduled month, although not on its normal weekend. While usually being held the last weekend of April or first weekend in May, Welcome To Rockville will be held on the 3rd weekend in May this year, which is usually reserved for Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival (formerly known as Rock On The range).
While onsite this past weekend, festival goers (as well as those who streamed from home) were first to know, as countdown clocks took over the screens and counted down to a headliner. Over the course of four hours, fans were introduced to their headliners one by one for next year. Headlining on their respective nights, KISS (Thursday, May 19), KoRn (Friday, May 20), Guns N’ Roses (Saturday, May 21) and Foo Fighters (Sunday, May 22) are all set to play Welcome To Rockville 2022, which is once again being held at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida.
While the full lineup won’t be announced until next month, fans in attendance could be seen all weekend lining up to purchase layaway tickets onsite. With tickets being on sale, and available for layaway already, its only a matter of time before America’s biggest rock festival once again sells out.
