Richmond, VA groove metal trio Artusha consists of brothers David Landers (guitar/vocals) and Caylon Landers (drums) along with Brian Hase (bass), as they’ve been spending this year working on their new album. Today (8th), the group has teamed up with Metal Insider to premiere the video for their latest single, “Live Free.” The clip was created in David’s’ Zero Label Studio and edited by Caylon. The song exemplifies their tenacity with explosive riffs, which you can hear influences from Pantera to In Flames.
David comments:
“2020 really hasn’t been kind to us on many levels, but who said we have to live by circumstance? I subscribe to the idea that we should live by purpose. That’s what Live Free is all about. Not letting anyone or anything rob you of your purpose and worth.
We’re looking forward to hitting Zero Label Studio for a few months and releasing an EP in 2021. Hopefully we can hop on some festivals and tour a bit along the way. Lord knows we’re all ready for concerts, over priced beer and road trips!”
I know the band is stoked to release “Live Free” in 2020. I personally wanted to release it sooner, but I’m glad everyone can bite into it and give 2020 a proper middle finger as we move into the new year. I am proud of this song because it models everything that I stand for.”
