Last month, James Hetfield made his first public appearance since entering rehab at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, CA, for the Reclaimed Rust: The James Hetfield Collection exhibit. Metallica had to push back the second installment of their All Within My Hands Helping Hands concert. However, the delay didn’t stop Hetfield from returning to the stage for the first time since his treatment back in September 2019. Last night (20th), Hetfield honored Eddie Money by performing an acoustic cover of the late singer’s classic hit, “Baby Hold On.” Hetfield wasn’t the only one who played at the tribute show, A Star-Studded Tribute to Eddie Money, held at Saban in Beverly Hills, CA. Other guests included Sammy Hagar, George Thorogood, Rick Springfield, and more. Proceeds from the show went to the USC Eddie Money Cancer Research Fund.
