Montreal’s Demise of the Crown have a lot to offer metal fans, and it’s on all display on “Fixated,” which we’re premiering today. The second video from their forthcoming album, Life in the City. Kicking off with a rager of a riff, the song segues into the Warrel Dane-esque vocals of frontman Darren Beadman before exploding into a chorus that wouldn’t sound out of place on a Soilwork album. In less than four minutes, the band run the gamut of influences from ’80s to groove metal and a touch of death metal without missing a beat.
