The first four shows on Ozzy Osbourne’s UK/European farewell trek have been postponed due to Ozzy having a bad case of the flu. The affected shows include January 30th in Dublin, Feb. 1st in Nottingham, Feb. 3rd in Manchester, and Feb. 5th in Newcastle. As of now, the tour will kickoff on February 7th in Glasgow, UK. Judas Priest, who are scheduled to join Ozzy on select dates of the run as his special guests, revealed the news on Facebook, stating:
“It is with great regret we have to announce that the first four UK shows on the Ozzy Osbourne/Judas Priest tour have been postponed due to Ozzy having a very bad case of flu – therefore Dublin, Nottingham, Manchester and Newcastle will be rescheduled at a later date – details to follow once finalised – we are very sorry that this has happened and to disappoint so many fans – we wish Ozzy well and look forward to the Glasgow, Birmingham and London shows together – and to the rescheduled ones in the future.”
This hasn’t been the best year for Ozzy as it was last summer when the Prince of Darkness was forced to postpone a couple of dates of his North American No More Tours 2 trek due to hand surgery. Last Friday (25th), Ozzy shared a ghastly image of his eye as a blood vessel burst into it. We hope Ozzy gets well soon. Check out the rest of the tour dates here.
