Metallica recently celebrated the one year mark of the All Within My Hands charity by performing a rare acoustic set earlier this month at the Masonic in San Francisco, CA. In Addition to hearing some unplugged Metallica classic’s, the legends went onto play covers of Deep Purple, Nazareth, Blue Oyster Cult and Bob Seger.
Metallica commented:
“The event raised $1.3 million which will be used to work with our partners at Feeding America and the American Association of Community Colleges as All Within My Hands continues to tackle the issues of hunger and workforce education and work to create sustainable communities.”
