Metal By Numbers is a weekly column in which we look at the top metal sellers and debuts of the week.

I’ve been looking forward to this particular edition of MBN for weeks now, namely because of new albums from Behemoth and High On Fire. I’ve had a hard time getting into new music lately but not because I think the stuff I’ve listened to is bad or anything. Actually, I’m usually annoyed because I recognize that what I’m listening to is technically good but it just doesn’t connect with me for whatever reason. But I’ve been loving both I Loved You At Your Darkest and Electric Messiah. Hopefully you have been too.
