If you’re a Marilyn Manson fan from the New York City area, it hasn’t been a good past year or so to see them live. Of course, it was at the Hammerstein Ballroom last year when a prop fell on him, forcing him to cancel the tour just after Heaven Upside Down was released. The tour finally picked back up again, and, well, last night at the Paramount Theater, things didn’t go much better. Brooklyn Vegan reports concertgoers saying that he was drunk, threw his mic down, pushed an amp over and walked offstage.

A thread on Reddit from people that were there says that EMTs were called to the show, with a user stating “There’s no more to it. I had the meet and greet. He was wasted. He was worse on stage. Rambled on and on about us loving him. Here’s the set Reflecting Deep six Rambling on and on for minutes Disposable teens (cut short) He’s off stage for 5-10 Back and rambles for 20 min about who knows what Saturnalia (poorly played riff over and over for 10+min into lunchbox riff with him doing spoken word for 15 min. Stumbled off stage. Band finished lunchbox the right way. Gods gonna cut you down house music.”
Setlist.fm says that the band played seven songs, but two of them were aborted. An Instagram taken from the show illustrates how pissed off the crowd was, as they chanted “Fuck you Manson.” Marilyn Manson is scheduled to perform a sold-out show at the Starland Ballroom tonight. Here’s hoping he gets his act together, and not just for tonight’s show, either.
