Code Orange has teamed up with Adult Swim Singles to bring us “Only One Way”. The song was recorded at Studio 4 in Conshohocken, PA with Will Yip. The band decided to change up the general formulaic song structure, that we all know and love, and went and chewed it up and spit it out through their machine. The band also revealed that they plan on releasing new material on a more regular basis which should keep the downtime to a minimum. Maybe instead of albums every 2-3 years, we should expect EP’s and random singles to be shared.

“We wanted to write a song that felt like something structurally sound and melodic, being chewed up and spit out by a machine; our machine. We plan to release material on a more regular basis in an attempt to break down rock and metal’s formulaic pattern of long breaks between outputs. This means we must work twice as hard, so we will. The hurt will go on. The end will never come…”

Sometimes when a band disappears for awhile, it causes you to miss them and makes their return desired more than before. However, on the flip side, when a band disappears for too long, it could have the opposite effect.

Either way, go ahead and enjoy “Only One Way” below:
