One of the hazards of being in a band, along with accidents, lack of health insurance, potentially unhealthy lifestyles and rampaging egos is theft. The latest band to fall victim to it is Havok, who returned home from a European tour to find their trailer broken into and gear stolen. While it’s despicable enough to steal gear from a hard-working band that’s obviously not rolling in dough, it’s even worse considering that they start tomorrow on the Metal Alliance tour. As a result, for the first time in their career, they’re crowdfunding to attempt to raise $19,000 to help replace their gear and maintain their van. Here’s what they said via Facebook:
