For as popular a band as they are, Rammstein doesn’t really play the United States that much. Six years ago, they played their first show in the States in almost a decade, selling out Madison Square Garden in 20 minutes. The following several years, they returned several times, touring in support of their 2009 album Liebe Ist Fur Alle Da and the 2012 compilation album Made In Germany. However, they’re such an international draw that they can just play festivals, and their sole U.S. show last year was at Chicago Open Air. While the band’s next album hasn’t been announced yet, even though they’re working on it, American fans on the East Coast will have an opportunity to see Rammstein next year.
In what’s being billed as their only East Coast U.S. appearance all next year, they’ll be playing the Jones Beach Theater on Sunday, June 25th. Tickets will be going on sale this coming Saturday (17) at 10AM, EST. Given how popular the band’s show is live, it will most likely sell out, perhaps in as little time as the Madison Square Garden show did. It’s not hyperbole to say that they put on one of the best and most entertaining live shows we’ve seen in all our years of concertgoing. And while they might not have a new album out by the time they come here, you’ll still get plenty of bang for your buck. Here’s where you’ll be able to pick up your tickets.
And here’s a clip of what you’re in store for from the In Amerika film of the Madison Square Garden show.
