We’ve been praying for the election to be over one way or another, and while the vitriol being spewed on social media from all sides isn’t going away any time soon, at least we can concentrate on what’s important – that next Friday, we’re getting a new Metallica album. Hardwired… To Self Destruct has been in the works for eight years, and as we approach the near one-week mark until their tenth studio album, the band themselves are counting down the days. They announced in an email to their Met Club that they’ll be discussing their previous albums in interviews on radio stations and on their web site. On the day of the album’s release, they’ll be sending out an hour-long discussion on the making of the new album.
And with the holidays approaching, they decided to have daily deals on their site. Starting today, the band’s web store has sale items corresponding with each album. Today they’re offering two Kill em All shirts discounted by $10 and a flag that’s $8 less than it normally would be. Here’s the schedule:
November 9 – Kill ‘Em All
November 10 – Ride the Lightning
November 11 – Master of Puppets
November 12 – …And Justice For All
November 13 – The Black Album
November 14 – Load
November 15 – Re Load
November 16 – St. Anger
November 17 – Death Magnetic
