If you’re a fan of the several projects Phil Anselmo is involved, then you are very familiar with Superjoint, previously Superjoint Ritual. The band had a short-lived exposure in the mid 2000’s when they released Use Once And Destroy and A Lethal Dose of American Hatred but eventually broke up in 2004 after some misunderstandings between the members. A decade later, Superjoint announced their reunion in 2014 for Phil Anselmo’s Housecore Horror Film Festival and the response was so great that they decided to continue as a band and hit the studio.
After the news about the release of their new album Caught Up In The Gears Of Application, the band has finally released the first single off it titled “Sociopathic Herd Delusion” and it sounds great. The album is set to be out by the end of the year, but at least here’s a good idea on whether you want to get it or not. Take a listen and let us know what you think.
