The Ghost Inside got into a very serious tour bus accident a few months ago, leaving its members in the hospital for several weeks. After some time speculating about the condition of each of the musicians, they decided to provide an update on their recovery, including the loss of drummer Andrew Tkaczyk’s leg and frontman Jonathan Vigil therapy to recover the mobility on his legs.
Now, is guitarist Zach Johnson who give us a personal update on his condition and shared on his Twitter the aftermath of the accident, with a before and after picture of his now missing two toes. Johnson was recently discharged from the hospital following 8 surgeries to help his recovery from the injuries he sustained in the crash.
The picture is very graphic and gory so be advised and definitely consider it NSFW, unless you want your boss to question your decisions to see gore during work hours. You can help the band out with the costs of their continued recovery at Gofundme.
My 5th toe was barely on my foot, didn’t survive. 4th got infected. 3rd-5th toes were destroyed. Bones/vessels gone pic.twitter.com/5D0Pg0SRYV
