Megadeth is the band everyone’s talking about this week with the release of their newest album Dystopia right around the corner and to make sure you know what album to look for at the store, Mustaine and company released their new music video for “Dystopia.”

The animated video would be a continuation of the previous one released for “The Threat is Real” and it’s just as beautifully made. Mustaine said the following about the clip:

“We had met with a guy in England, and I basically talked to him about this dystopian city that I had kind of visualized. You see all these movies like Armageddon, Independence Day, 12 Monkeys, Planet of the Apes and stuff, and there’s always a moral at the end of the story: If you stand up for what’s right, you won’t have to give in to a dystopian world. It’s just one of those things we grew up in. Explaining that concept to the artist — I thought he got what I was saying pretty clearly.”

Dystopia will be out on tomorrow January 22, and can be pre-ordered physically here and on vinyl here. You can also catch em on the road next month in company of Suicidal Tendencies, Children of Bodom and Havok at the dates listed .
