The Shinedown and Breaking Benjamin co-headlining tour just wrapped up on November 24th, and by all accounts it was a success. Both bands were touring in support of their hot new albums; Breaking Benjamin’s Dark Before Dawn debuted at #1 in June, and Shinedown’s Threat to Survival came out in September and debuted at #5.
So how’d the tour go? According to Billboard’s Hot Tours recap, it went pretty well:
“With primarily arenas on the schedule, the tour grossed $5.7 million from 24 concerts reported to Billboard by promoters and venues. Overall attendance reached 136,969 with Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena logging the highest box office counts. The venue’s sellout crowd totaled 10,489 in Music City on Nov. 13, generating $437,957 in sales.”
Breaking Benjamin and Shinedown pulled in over $1 million in the last four shows of the tour, putting them at the top of the list ahead of acts like the Zac Brown Band, Darius Rucker, and Yes.
