Today, as most of you that drink the Apple water know, the tech giant held a keynote speech to introduce the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. There were more things announced as well, however, like Apple TV and a new iPad that’s their biggest yet.Interestingly enough, during the Apple TV portion of the keynote, which was held at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, Sevendust was prominently displayed. During the finale, senior design producer Jen Folse showed off the Georgia band’s latest single, “Thank You,” on the display, stating “So you probably wouldn’t have guessed it, but I am quite the metal head and this is one of my favorite bands.” While demonstrating, several seconds of the band’s single played throughout the auditorium. While we might have thought that the album might have just been chosen for design purposes (the same thing we assumed when Deafheaven was used during a commercial for the 5C), the fact that Folse actually talked them up and let some of the song plays proves that it was very much a conscious decision.
Kill the Flaw will be released on October 2.
