Disturbed came back from hiatus in June, announcing the release of Immortalized, due out August 21st, and their first new studio album since 2010’s Asylum. Since then we’ve heard tracks from the album, including “What Are You Waiting For,” “Fire It Up,” “Immortalized,” and “The Vengeful One.” Now the band has announced a North American tour for early next year.

Said the band regarding their latest effort,

“This album had the arduous task of, in some way, justifying the hiatus; giving the fans something that made it worth our time away from one another. We hope that it succeeds in that task. Thank you for staying with us over the years.”

Pre-sale tickets for the 19 date tour go on sale Tuesday, August 18th at 10AM (local) for anyone who pre-ordered Immortalized from Disturbed1.com, while everyone else will have to wait until Friday, August 21st.

The last four Disturbed albums debuted at #1. Since Lamb of God’s VII: Sturm Und Drang sold 47,175 copies to nab #2, Immortalized stands a chance at making it five #1 debuts in a row for Disturbed.
