Textures working on new album

Posted by on May 21, 2015

Textures are back in the studio, working on their first new studio album since 2011s Dualism. This new album will again be released by Nuclear Blast, and will see former (and founding)  guitarist Jochem Jacobs return to the band to take on mixing and mastering duties.

In a statement from the band:

“We are thrilled to be back in the studio after such a long time. We know our fans are waiting for a while now as our previous album ‘Dualism’ has been released 4 years ago already. We have spent a long time making the songs really fit, so we can tell you this album will have something in store for every TEXTURES fan out there and even more than that!!”

The new Textures album, their fifth, is expected to be out in early 2016. The band celebrated the 10 year anniversary of their 2003 debut album Polars last year with a headlining tour in Europe.
