craigowensDr. Dre’s surprise new album, Compton, is only available digitally right now, but the album, which came out on Friday (7) might have a familiar voice on it, if you’re familiar with Chiodos. Singer Craig Owens appears on a track, “One Shot, One Kill,” on the record. Snoop Digg and Aftermath Entertainment rapper Jon Connor also appear on the track. This isn’t the first time that Connor and Owens have appeared on a track together, as Owens has appeared on three of the rapper’s tracks so far. Both of them are from Flint, MI, which is geographically at least, pretty far away from Compton.

The album, Dre’s first in 16 years and what he’s calling his grand finale, is expected to sell about 250,000 in its first week. That’s pretty impressive given that it will only be available digitally for the first two weeks before coming out on CD.

If you would've told me as a kid that I'd be on Dr. Dre's final album on a track w/ Snoop Dogg & my boy Jon Connor… Pick it up on iTunes this Saturday!#OneShotOneKill #DrDre #SnoopDogg #JonConnor #History
