Metallica frontman James Hetfield refers to himself as “Papa Het” on Instagram. He actually is a proud father of three children, and this past Friday (15), he got to showcase the vocal talents of one of them, his daughter Cali, and the Acoustic-4-a-Cure benefit concert in San Francisco. The father/daughter duo performed Adele’s “Crazy For You,”with the 16 year-old faithfully singing while her dad, obviously stoked to be on the stage with her, accompanied her on guitar.
Hetfield’s duet with Cali was only one of the surprises at the second annual event, which is co-presented by Hetfield and Sammy Hagar. Joe Satriani and Linda Perry were also performers at the event, as well as Alice In Chains’ Jerry Cantrell, who joined Hetfield for a cover of Blue Oyster Cult’s “Don’t Fear the Reaper.”:

Perhaps the most bizarre performance of the evening came from Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, Train’s Pat Monohan and… Adam Sandler, who gamely covered Led Zeppelin’s “Ramble On.”
