Stryper frontman Michael Sweet released a book, Honestly: My Life and Stryper Revealed , today. It also happens to be the day that the singer released a solo album, I’m Not Your Suicide. As we reported earlier, Dave Mustaine’s 16 year-old daughter, Electra, appears on the album, dueting with Sweet on a cover of Neil Young’s “Heart of Gold,” and the label has released a video for it.
The country-tinged cover features slide guitar, some nice harmonies, and oh yeah, Electra Mustaine. In fact, the younger Mustaine identifies on her Twitter page as a country singer/songwriter. This despite the fact that she’s covered her dad’s “A Tout le Monde” before. It’ll be interesting where she goes with her career from here. Check out her Megadeth cover below.
