Is it us, or has Limp Bizkit been around long enough that they’re finally gaining cred? First Phil Anselmo hung out with Fred Durst at a festival. Just yesterday, Vice had a strangely reverent interview with Durst about his new film, The Truth. And in Hamburg, Germany yesterday, Scott Ian, Frank Bello and Joey Belladonna joined Bizkit onstage in Hamburg, Germany for a cover of Public Enemy’s “Bring the Noise.”  Arguably one of Anthrax’s most popular songs, Durst had covered the song as well, appearing on a version that Staind did on a compilation album with his former bandmate DJ Lethal. Maybe Durst and Bizkit are getting so much cred because they appear to be sitting on Stampede of the Disco Elephants, their seventh album that they’ve been talking about since 2011
