The UK’s Electric Wizard have announced on Facebook that they’ll be embarking on a full US tour in early 2015. Tagging along will be Satan’s Satyrs, who share a member in Electric Wizard bass player Clayton Burgess. This will be the first full tour the band have done of the U.S. since 2002, which is pretty insane.

Vocalist and guitarist Jus Oborn told Occult Rock about touring in support of their most recent album, Time to Die:

“Well, the album is meant to be played live. I think that’s pretty obvious from the way it sounds, which is raw and brutal. To be honest, we are probably going to end up touring the fucking world by the end of this album’s life… I’d like to get to South America eventually, and the US tour is coming into play around April 2015, and then we’ll be back to playing in Europe, so hopefully a world tour by the end of the cycle.”

Time to Die, released in September, is the band’s eighth studio album. It’s the first with new label home Spinefarm Records, with whom they signed on with back in April.
