Drummer Shawn Drover and guitarist Chris Broderick, both formerly of Megadeth, have finally found a bass player for their new band. It’s Matt Bachand, the founding rhythm guitarist of Shadows Fall.
Said Drover, in the statement to BraveWords:
“I am leaving on Saturday for Hartford, CT, to begin drum tracks on the new record I am doing with Chris Broderick, Henry Derek and our new bass player, Matt Bachand (Shadows Fall). I have known Matt for 15 years now and he is a great musician, songwriter, singer and all around GREAT person. To say I’m jacked up about having Matt with us is an understatement!”
Former Scar The Martyr vocalist Henry Derek Bonner joined this as-of-yet unnamed band back in December, which started coming together after Drover and Broderick both left Megadeth in November. Information like band name, label, producer – all of that will supposedly come via press release at some point.
