Once you realize that the new Autopsy album, out April 29th on Peaceville, is titled Tourniquets, Hacksaws and Graves, it becomes pretty evident that they’re not reinventing the wheel. However, it’s still a pretty damn terrifying wheel. Just look at that album cover. It’s as gory as a Cattle Decaptiation video, but funnier – the zombie’s sawing off the only part of him that’s still alive!
The first taste of the band’s seventh album, perhaps related to the album cover, is titled “The Howling Dead,” which is a great title. I mean, why would the dead walk without making any sound? The band are on a roll, with this being their second album in as many years following a 15 year retirement they emerged from in 2011. Noisey is premiering the song, which you can check out below.
