Puddle of Mudd vocalist Wes Scantlin is making the news for all the wrong reasons once again. This time Scantlin took a “joy ride on the carousel at the airport this morning thru restricted access and got arrested.” And this before a scheduled show that night!

Rock Panther, the promoter, posted an update to Facebook during the incident:

“So if you haven’t heard yet Wes the lead singer from Puddle Of Mudd decided to take a joy ride on the carousel at the airport this morning thru restricted access and got arrested. We have been on this all day and he is just about to be release from Jail and will head straight to the venue. The show will go on but that is why we are running late. ‪#‎fuckingrockstars‬”

A local fan bailed Scantlin out of jail so the show could go on, which sure is nice, but it appears Puddle of Mudd won’t be booked by Rock Panther ever again:

“Puddle of Mudd finally on stage I apologize to all of those who left early I hope you enjoyed Lola Black, Horse and Drug under. Those of you that stayed I hope you love Puddle of Mudd cause we will NEVER book them again.”

Scantlin showed some pretty odd behavior about a year ago in Dallas, TX when he tossed a microphone into the crowd and flipped off the crowd.
