Meet Casino. They’re a three-piece teen instrumental band that played a classroom talent show a ways back. They actually have a pretty good groove going throughout their song, which makes up a bit for its repetition. But what really seals the deal is the band’s bassist. He’s perfectly competent, but if you tune into the 3:40 mark or so as the song ends, he ends the song in the most rock star way possible. Hopefully, he’s got another bass or two, but it might be best summed up by a bewildered kid asking “what did the guitar do?” This video is actually five years old, but thanks to Dangerous Minds (via Arbroath) we’re now able to enjoy it half a decade later. Who knows – maybe the bassist has gone on to smash instruments in real venues instead of classrooms.
