Not too fond of Lulu? Apparently, not a lot of people are. Those who actually liked the album will enjoy Metallica and Lou Reed’s performance on BBC’s Later… With Jools Holland. The two performed “Iced Honey,” the latest single off of Lulu, and a cover of The Velvet Underground’s “White Light/ White Heat.” This actually marks the second time the two have performed “White Light/ White Heat” live together, the first time being at the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame 25th Anniversary Show.

The performance isn’t all that bad, but it won’t win over any naysayers. In fact, the Velvet Underground cover somewhat makes us wish that the two stuck to their original plan of re-recording Reed’s hidden gems instead of creating Lulu. Metallica and Lou Reed’s performance of “Iced Honey” on Later… With Jools Holland can be seen in the video above, while their rendition of “White Light/ White Heat” can be seen after the jump.
