Earlier this year, Fear Factory released The Industrialist, an album that was a return to form for the band. The pummeling riffs from Dino Cazares and Burton C. Bell’s menacing and melodic vocals haven’t sounded this assured since Obsolete. The concept album’s man vs. machine plot isn’t necessarily breaking any new ground, but the album was definitely satisfying (not to mention true to life when it was revealed that they used drum programming for the album). The band have created a pretty cool video for the title track, which premiered earlier today at Metal Injection. Combining live footage from the band and bleak imagery that matches the industrial overtones of the band, this is worth checking out even if you’re not a fan of the band.
