Bill Burr is one of the most popular comedians on the circuit right now. His standup specials are huge, you might remember him from Breaking Bad as someone Saul Goodman has help out with stuff, and his animated sitcom F is for Family, is on Netflix. He also hosts a podcast, Bill Burr’s Monday Morning Podcast, and on a recent installment, spoke about seeing (mostly) instrumental stoner rock band Earthless. “I’m still processing what the fuck I saw,” he says. He compares the performance to the final minutes of a band playing an arena rock show, saying “they just started there and stayed there for half an hour.” As anyone that’s seen the band before can attest, that’s pretty much par for the course with them. We’re actually a little jealous of Burr, because you can only see Earthless live for the first time once, and walking in to see them without knowing what you’re in for must be completely mind-blowing.
