Swedish metal outfit Tribulation have recently announced the release of their upcoming EP, Hamartia, out on April 7th via Century Media Records. The group has released a cover version of Blue Öyster Cult’s “Vengeance (The Pact)” as their latest single, giving a glimpse of what’s to come. Known for their unique take on black metal, Tribulation has been making waves in the metal scene since their formation in 2004. With each release, the band has consistently pushed the boundaries experimenting with different styles. Their latest EP will be no exception. The cover of “Vengeance (The Pact)” highlights the band’s ability to breathe new life, giving a unique spin to the classic track. 

Guitarist Adam Zaars comments: 

“We’ve been meaning to do a BÖC cover for over a decade now, and finally got around to doing it. They’ve been a constant source of inspiration throughout the years as they always seemed to find new creative ways of doing their thing, which is what we’re always striving for. It will stand out a bit from what we usually do as anyone listening will find out soon enough!”
