This might be the best week for fans of parody music since the last Weird Al Yankovic album was released. Earlier this week, comedian Jon Daly and musician Cyrus Ghahremanian created the dead-on Red Hot Chili Peppers parody “Acracadabralifornia,” which was supposedly tied in with the band’s Super Bowl halftime show appearance. Then some guy Frederick Scott came up with “This is a Trent Reznor Song.” It’s pretty much a spoof of Nine Inch Nails’ “Copy of A,” but it could stand in for a ton of songs by the band. Creepy piano, random percussion, Reznor’s voice getting louder, then quieter – it hits all the marks, and is thankfully nowhere near as long as it’s chorus says it is. We’re guessing it might not be available on Beats Music.
