We don’t know much about Finnish band Steve’n’Seagulls other than they have a pretty goofy name that Steven Seagal probably hates. Also, they’ve done an amazing acoustic cover of Iron Maiden’s “The Trooper” that sounds like it was made on an Appalachian porch in between swigs of moonshine. Their Facebook page finds them playing a handful of originals in their native language, but also covers of Dio’s “Holy Diver,” Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” and Lady Gaga’s “Pokerface” all done in a countrified banjo and washboard-laced style. Who knew there was such thing as a Finnish drawl?
