Andy Rehfeldt is a genius. The same guy that brought you death metal Mary Poppins, easy listening versions of Slipknot and Metallica and the most metal Justin Timberlake has ever been, has returned. This time, he’s taken on The Weeknd, the Canadian phenomenon that’s had back to back #1 hits with “Can’t Feel my Face” and “The Hills.” Rehfeldt has decided to metal up “The Hills,” and it’s actually a really solid version. Syncing a live version of the song, it keeps Weeknd’s (Mr. nd?)’s original vocals and metals up the rest of the song, with a pretty awesome guitar breakdown after the first chorus.
