Rob Scallon joined by female ukelele player for Cannibal Corpse cover

YouTuber personality Rob Scallon has played every variety of stringed instrument, and he tackled Cannibal Corpse’s “Frantic Disembowelment” on the ukelele way back in 2014. However, this time, he’s enlisted Sarah Longfield, who’s not only a talented uke player, but also an amazingly good guttural growler. Last week, the duo took on Slayer’s “Payback,” which is one of the first covers we’ve heard from God Hates Us All, in the context of a “Sunday Uke Club,” in which a bunch of folky hipsters get knocked on their asses by Scallon and Longfield’s take on the track. This week, they’re back with another Corpse cover, “Evidence in the Furnace.” While everyone on the internet by now knows who Scallon is, the innocent-looking Longfield, another multi-instrumentalist, is the x factor in both this and the Slayer covers, and the two have put out an EP, if you’re into ukelele covers of metal songs. Here’s the latest entry:

And here’s last week’s Slayer cover, which has already racked up over 369,000 views:
