Metallica began their four-night residency on Jimmy Kimmel Live! by performing “Lux Æterna,” the lead single from their upcoming album, “72 Seasons,” and chatting with host Jimmy Kimmel. During their appearance, the band discussed various topics, including their upcoming performances on the show, the popularity of their music among young people, their cover song competition for marching bands, and pressing their own vinyl records. They also talked about going on tour and performing two nights in each city and reminiscing about the first albums they ever purchased.
