The next time you find yourself perusing ads for alcoholic beverages from Denmark, you might be seeing Lars Ulrich’s mug among them. The drummer has gotten himself involved with two companies, Carlsberg and Gammel Dansk. For Carlsberg, Ulrich was part of the campaign for the company’s “Stand Out Collection”, which involved creating a video in San Francisco.
For Gammel Dansk, he was involved in a campaign called “Not Like The Others”, where he has appeared in commercials for the product. Both campaigns are similar in that they highlight uniqueness and individual achievement. Videos from the two campaigns are available below, which are actually pretty interesting to watch if you’ve never heard Ulrich speaking Danish before.
