In North Adams, Massachusetts, the police actually issued a warning urging residents to not get drunk and chase after bears with dull hatchets. This happened as the result of someone, well, getting drunk and chasing a bear through the woods with a hatchet. We’re not sure what this has to do with the band iwrestledabearonce, except it ties in with the fact that they released a video for “Gift of Death” today, which could be what the guy was after. The video, which premiered at AP today is definitely in keeping with “Erase It All” and “Wade in the Water,” in that it’s straight up techy deathcore and far away from the wackiness that the band was best known for when they started out.
Hail Mary will be released on Artery Recordings on June 16th. It can be preordered here.
