Black metal outfit Hellish Torment shake the locals of Grand Rapids, Michigan, also known as Beer City, with their frowned-upon blasphemous beats. Formed in 2016, it’s taken a beat fighting against all odds, and finally, the group has taken a stand to release their debut full-length album on April 26th. Despite facing numerous obstacles, including noise complaints and difficulty finding band members, the group persevered through the challenges, fueled by their passion for the genre.

Influenced by thrash, old-school black metal, melodic death metal, and power metal, Hellish Torment’s music promises an aggressive blend, giving melodic and neo-classical styles infused with raw black metal. While searching for a bass player, the band is forging ahead with their vocalist/guitarist handling bass duties on the album, with members including Tom “The Soulbutcher” Gillis, Mike “Evil Oehmen,” and Patrick “Dragginballs” McCarty.

The group has recently unveiled a video for their first single, “Dead And Rotting.”
